Medical education disclaimer

Saras is an educational practice tool for doctors and medical trainees preparing for examinations. It is not a substitute for supervision, clinical guidelines, local policy, or professional judgement.

Practice, not patient care

Do not use Saras prompts, answers, transcripts, or AI feedback to diagnose, triage, prescribe, or manage a real patient. Always use current local guidance and seek appropriate senior support in clinical work.

Human-authored content and AI marking

Saras questions and stations are written by consultants and experienced clinicians who have completed the relevant examinations. A clinician reviews and approves the content before publication.

AI is used primarily to transcribe responses, apply the approved marking structure, generate feedback, and make the practice workflow responsive. AI output can be incomplete, incorrect, or inconsistent. It is educational guidance only and is not an official college mark, pass prediction, or endorsement.

Exam bodies and sources

Saras is independent and does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by ACEM, AMC, CICM, or another examination body unless a formal relationship is explicitly stated. Source and image licences are reviewed before content is published, but candidates should still check the current official curriculum and examination guidance.
